AIS is a two-year programme equivalent to Master’s degree
in Library & Information Science recognized by Govt. of India and
many Indian Universities. The students of this course are selected through a
written test and interview. Persons having a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
in (i) Master’s degree or (ii) four-year plus degree like B.E./M.B.B.S.
or (iii) Bachelor’s degree plus B.Lib.Sc. plus one year of
relevant experience after B.Lib.Sc. are eligible to apply.
